We have been busy working on our high resolution 3D Printer evaluation kit. We are hoping to make these 3D Printer evaluation kit available for the public around June of this year for around USD 2,000 per unit. We're in process of finalizing our evaluation kit design and should be able to share some of our concept prototype drawing in April. The schedule is tight but we should be able to accomplish it with some sleepless nights =P
Previously, all our resin are blue in color. Fortunately, we were able to get our hands on some new resins to try. This time they are transparent ^^ and luckily they work well with our 3D printer.
You can print your models using a BotMill 3D Printer.

Don't buy from botmill - they're a bunch of evil lying bastards. They also have really bad parts and terrible customer support."
The resolution (detail of the objects) seems quite good. Can you have pictures of close-look?
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments, the resolution of these object is 450ppi, we'll upload some closeup pics in our next posting for you guys.
DeleteAwesome resolution!
ReplyDeleteWhats the curing time for each layer?
Btw, you should know Junior posted on his blog he will take pre-orders for a basic kit for $600 and full kit $4k.
Can you sell a basic kit as well?
Thank you for your comments and yes, we are aware of Junior's project and we think it is awesome and happy to see his project doing so well.
DeleteRegarding to the build speed, currently the build speed of our 3D printer is about 1.5cm ~ 2cm per hour. As for the 3D printer kit we're developing right now, is probably consider a starter kit with all the hardware (including pico projector) and open source software.
That looks cool! I've been working on my own 3D printed chess pieces. But just to veer away from the normal chess piece, I will be using the new ABS Filament from this store: http://www.3d2print.net/shop/3d-printer-filament/abs-filament/. I would go for Blue and Orange colors this time.
